What exactly is a House Map?
A house map is a collection of construction and working drawings (also known as blueprints) that specify all of the building parameters of a residential house, including measurements, materials, layouts, installation processes and techniques.
What does House Maps do?
These House Maps provide house-building directions, They usually include complete blueprints and floor plans, as well as additional planning or constructing details such as supplies, cabinet arrangement, and fireplace directions. Sometimes the plans are just starting points for working with an architect or designer to design your customised home; other times, a builder will build an entire neighbourhood using only three or four designs and variations, such as flipping them for a mirror image or using different exterior colours or materials.
There are several accreditations and certificates available for architects and designers, representing their various training and expertise. In general, the standards for someone to call themselves an architect are more strict, generally requiring graduation from an approved institution, passing examinations, and/or registering with professional organisations that review credentials. Some are given in the references section below.
